Owen “Claude” Livesay was a loving and devoted husband, father, papaw, brother & friend. He left this world peacefully at home with his girls by his side on November 30, 2021. Claude was born to Oren Claude and Mattie EvMarie Livesay on July 4, 1954 in Lee County, Va. He was saved at a young age and was a member of Livesay’s Chapel Church. He met and married the love of his life, Lorrie Hope Drinnon. They had four daughters and eight grandchildren. Claude was a kind hearted, fun loving, hardworking man. He loved to give people nicknames and absolutely loved to horseplay. Claude learned the value of hard work as a young man by building houses with his dad and Uncle Charlie. Over the years he became a jack of all trades. He has built many houses & buildings in north east Tennessee and south west Virginia. He also farmed, did mechanic work, built furniture and worked for Short Mtn. Silica, from which he retired in June 2019. Family meant everything to him. He loved his community & neighbors. He will be sadly and dearly missed by all who knew him.
