I just want to share something with y’all.  I was always worried about mommy and she would say when the Lord is ready for me he is going to take me and you know what to do and I would say no not really. Call John? She giggled.

I spent the last few days with her and I want to let you know she was thinking of you, Casey & Stacey, Codie & Christy, Aunt Bonnie, Emily & Autumn, Josephine & Angie.  Just because you wasn’t mentioned doesn’t mean you wasn’t loved.

I have heard that the Lord sends people to help you to Heaven. Do you believe it? I do. I was trying to feed mommy and she said share some of that with Virginia.  You see her don’t you?  I said no I don’t see her and mommy said I was just talking to her. Then she said you think I’m crazy don’t you? I said no mommy.

Mommy asked me one night to sing her Amazing Grace but I told her I couldn’t sing so I played her Amazing Grace sung by Joey Feek.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I am found, was blind but now I see.

“In memory, it broke our hearts to lose you. A part of us went with you the day that God took you home. If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane, we’d walk our way to heaven and bring you back to our home.  In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill.”

We love you mommy, I know I do.

I want to thank all of her caregivers especially Donna, Crystal & Sam; Shannon & staff at Hancock Home Health; Dr. Short & staff at Hancock Manor; ER doctors & staff at Hancock County Hospital; Matthew & staff at Smith & Turner;  the ladies at Shepherd’s Corner.  A special thank you to the guys at Anderson Transportation.

Due to the circumstances, no funeral will be held at this time
