Rev. Jesse Ben (J.B.) Buttry, age 87, of Sneedville, born November 25, 1933, went to his Heavenly home on January 5, 2021 at Holston Valley Hospital after a short illness. He was ordained into the ministry on October 9, 1975. He was a member of Trent Valley Church and was pastor of several churches throughout the county during his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy M. & Lula Trent Buttry and infant twin brothers, Bobby & Billy Buttry.
He is survived by;
His loving wife of 65 years; Dorothy Buttry
Daughters; Debbie Lawson and Gail (Patrick) Collins
Granddaughter; Brandy Wolfe & fiancé Jason Dills
A host of relatives and friends
