James Allen Nichols, age 78, went peacefully to be with the Lord and Savior at his home December 28, 2021 surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. He accepted Jesus as his savior at an early age during a revival at Livesay’s Chapel Church. James truly loved the Lord, as he often stated many times and left a testimony behind that Heaven would be his home. He told us that he hated to leave his family but he was so tired and just wanted to go to his heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andy & Martha “Matt” Nichols; maternal grandparents, Clyde & Francis Sizemore; father & mother, Haskew & Grace Nichols; sisters, Edith Fleenor & Evelyn Kinlser and daughter, Dareleyne Brewer
His is survived by;
His loving wife of 50 years; Martha Nichols
Daughter; Mary Lynn (Ronnie) Setsor
Grandkids; Levi Marion, Kaela Nichols, Harley (Will) Denton, Tori Mathis, Cidney Brewer, Shelby Brewer, Nathaniel Brown, Savannah Setsor & Alayah Brown
Great-Granddaughter; Addy Mathis

Special Nephew; Stevie Nichols
Special Brother-in-law; Guy Rogers
Special Sister-in-law; Mary Brown

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Livesay’s Chapel Church

Special music will be provided by the Gospel Four
Interment will follow in the Nichols Cemetery
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Lee Nichols Jr., Bryan Roberts, Matthew Cooper, Brian Weston, Levi Marion & Hunter Boggs
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Nichols, Guy Rogers, Mary Brown & Tom Belcher Sr.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 P.M. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Livesay’s Chapel Church
