Obituary

Grant H. Gibson, age 72 of Thorn Hill, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  He was a member of Flat Gap Baptist Church.

His parents, Harvey and Dollie Gibson, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gibson of Thorn Hill, TN; sisters Clara Ramsey of Sneedville, and Mandy (Glen) Saylor of Morristown; brother-in-law Homer Winstead of Thorn Hill; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Friday, December 11, 2020, at McNeil Funeral Home, with funeral services at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Winstead Cemetery in Thorn Hill.  Rev. J.R. South, Rev. Kester Bunch, and Rev. Chris Shanks will be officiating the services.

Pallbearers will be Brian Lawson, Ethan Lawson, Leamon Maxey, Neil Lamb, Jacob Lamb, and Chad Mabe.
