Jimmy Mathis

Jimmy Mathis, age 60, of Sneedville, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 with his family by his side. Jimmy was saved at the age of 9 years old at Friendlies Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Pearlie Mathis; wife, Katherine Mathis; brother, Bobby Mathis and niece, Neosha Delph He is survived by; Sisters; Georgia Marion, Nancy Brewer, Imogene (Howard) Moricle & Gracie Mathis Brothers; Larry Mathis & Johnny Mathis Several nieces and nephews, he loved them all Many other family and friends Jimmy loved everyone he metSpecial thank you to Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice for their care of Jimmy.The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Thursday, March 29, 2024 at Friendlies Chapel Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 1 P.M.
