Jackie Collins

Jackie Collins, 72, of Sneedville, TN passed away on February 2, 2023 surrounded by his family. Jackie was born on January 28, 1951 to the late Mathis “Buddy” Collins and Isabelle Collins Ringley. He grew up in Ellicott City, MD with his Mother and Step-Father, Lewis Ringley, and 9 siblings. After high school, Jackie joined the US Army where he served his country for several years. Jackie was proceeded in death his by Father, Mother, and Step-Father along with his Sister, Betty Hamilton; Brothers, Billy Joe Collins, Robert Lee Collins, Johnny Lewis Ringley; Nephews; Wilbur Ringley and Caleb McDonald; and Niece, Docia Perry. He is survived by his siblings Lucille Thompson (late Barry Thompson) of Crownsville, MD, Gertrude Quesenberry (Dave) of Glen Burnie, MD, Wanda McDonald (Howard) of Columbia, MD, Kyle Ringley of Sneedville, TN, Michael Ringley (Rose) of Ellicott City, MD and sister-in-law Anita Collins of Woodlawn, MD as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends. Friends and Family are invited to the celebration of life services which will be held at McNeil Funeral Home at 124 Church St, Sneedville, TN. The viewing will be held on Sunday, February 5th from 5pm-7pm followed by a Funeral Service at 7pm. Jackie will be buried with military honors on Monday, February 6th at 9am at Burdine Cemetery on Little Black.
