Thomas Wiley

Thomas Lynn Wiley, 68 of Thorn Hill, TN (originally from Garrett Indiana), went to walk with Jesus on December 14, 2023. He passed at home with his wife and sister, Deb by his side. Thomas served in the Navy on the USS Chicago following High School. He was a 1973 Graduate of Garrett High School, Garrett, Indiana. He loved the Lord first and foremost, gospel music, cooking and his family. He worked and retired as a Floor Manager at Detroit Gasket in Newport, TN. He loved planning vacations for he and his wife and one of his most favorite places to go was Charleston, SC. He loved living in the country, talking on the phone with family and visiting with them when they came to visit. He loved them all dearly and his face lit up when he heard about their accomplishments and any news in their lives.He is survived by; His wife of 18 year; Mary Louise Wiley, Thorn Hill, TN Sons: Brian Wiley of TN, Brad Wiley of Lafayette, IN, Andrea (Lorenzo) Miller of Morristown, TN. Bonus children: Heather (Nate) Trombley of Winchester, NH; Bob (Tiffany) Brailey of Rogersville, TN; Cassie (Hank) Gero of Winchester, NH. Brother; Larry Wiley of Fort Wayne, IN Sister Deb Wiley of Paulding, OH. Nephew: Matthew (Mary) Brindle of Jones, OK Nieces: Mary (Dan) Hjelm of Hamilton, IN; Beth (Michael) Schweinsberg of Paulding, OH; Craig (Laura) Wiley of NC. Thomas was blessed with many grandchildren that he adored: Darius Miller, Darian Drosehn, Ryen Tinker, Blake Lavis, Cheyenne Smith, Myleigha Gero, Lily Gero, Courtney Brailey, Dylan Brailey, and Autumn Brailey. Many loving great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. He had 2 very special neighbors that were considered a part of his family in Thorn Hill; Homer and Gladys Collins and Gerald and Jill Mullins who were there for him at all times and loved them dearly.A celebration of life is TBD.McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville is honored to be serving the Wiley FamilyRead Obituary
