Randy Curtis Lamb, 67, of Sneedville, Tn., went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2023. He passed at home in the loving care of his wife after a battle with illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Holbert & Verda Lamb; sister, Mary Ruth “Sue” McCoy; nephew, Bob McCoy; sister-in-law, Kim Stewart; nephew, Kerry Minor; and father in law and mother in law, Sam and Anna Lou Minor. Randy held many jobs over the years; bus driver, police department, county highway department, TDOT, and his favorite, a truck driver for CMT. He had a love of motorcycles and enjoyed working on anything mechanical; cars, motorcycles and 4-wheelers. Randy was a member of Stoney Gap Baptist Church, where he was superintendent of many years. He leaves to cherish his memory; His wife of 47 years; Virginia Gail Lamb Children; Brad (Lindsey) Lamb and Cory Lamb His precious granddaughter; Sophie Lamb, the light of his life. Sisters; Cathy Collins and Alice Seal Brothers; Rocky Lamb and Marty (Amy) Lamb Brother-in-law; Max Minor Several nieces and nephews A host of family and friendsThe family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Stoney Gap Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 7 P.M. Rev. Jim Shaw & Rev. I use to like stopping at his work shop just to talk when he used to work on bikes, riding lawnmowers and ATV'S. He was always pleasant. Never saw him angry. He had such a good disposition. Great guy. Really gonna miss him. Now God can enjoy his presence.
