Christine "Tootsie" Kinder

Christine “Tootsie” Kinder age 82, went to her heavenly home on December 6th 2023 with family by her side. She was saved at the young age of 12 years old. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. She was one of kind, and loved her family with all of her heart. She is preceded in death by her Mom and Dad: Anderson and Jean King. Her husband Samuel David “Cecil” Kinder. Daughters: Teresa Shaw and Sonya Kinder. Brothers: Clarence King, Perry “Bud” King, and LC King. Great- Grandchild: Angel Grace Greene and Son-in-law: Steve Sizemore. She is survived by her daughter: Lisa Kinder Sizemore. Grand Children: Jeremy (Mikayla) Shaw, Jessica (Charles) Greene, Jamie (Levi) Johnson, Evan (Kylie McCoy, Haley (Matthew) Mahan and Laney and Baley Greene. Great-grandchildren: Ethan, Cayden, Jaycee, Madison, Noah, Jaxson, Tori, Kynzi, Mason, Calum, and Camden, Along with a host of family and friends. The family appreciates all of the prayers and love shown during this difficult time. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8th, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at McNeil Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church for a 10AM Funeral service with Rev. Bob Davis and Rev. Jim Shaw officiating and special music provided by Saved thru Faith. Following the Funeral service family and friends will process to Morgan Cemetery for a graveside service with Jeremy Shaw, Levi Johnson, Evan McCoy, Matthew Mahan, Charles Greene, and Jaxon Neely serving as pallbearers.
