Carol Lee (Cridge) Lamb, of Sneedville, Tn., born in Chicago, IL. on April 18, 1951, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was a member of Old Path Baptist Church in Eidson, Tn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard & Marie Cridge and brother, Lee Walter Cridge Today we had to let go of my beautiful mother. She was always there for you, ready to laugh, scold, or cry with you. Tough enough to raise four sons and gentle enough to teach us how to love, to be understanding of each other, that the little things like a kind word, a smile, a simple gesture in your life to someone you care about or even a total stranger can make that person’s life better. She cherished so many people that I couldn’t begin to list them but I can say that for 44 years she loved and stood by my dad. They have 4 sons, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. No doubt my mom will be missed, loved and cherished in our hearts forever. So mom, spread your amazing angel wings, smile that gorgeous smile and enjoy your beautiful new home in Heaven. I love you mom. Survivors include; Husband of 43 years; Alfred Emanuel Lamb of the home Children; Jim & Michele Lamb of Harlan, Ky., Al & Laurie Lamb of Rogersville, Smokey & Crystal Lamb of Tazewell and Sam & Patsy Lamb of Tazewell 14 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren Nephews; Lee Cridge & Mike Ahlberg, both of Chicago

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel Rev.
